Colorado House Project

We started the year 2000 on an adventure. We will be remodeling and rebuilding the house in Colorado. In the spirit of "This Old House" we plan to document the process from start to finish here on our web site. We hope you enjoy and learn from our experience.
Oogie moved out to Colorado in October 2000. As a result she got way behind in doing the web site updates. Rather than continue in a chronological fashion we decided to finish the web site project by focusing on each major construction milestone. Work continued through the fall and winter with a week off between Christmas and New Years. In late February 2001 construction was nearing completion. While we apologize for the delays in getting the site updated we hope you still find it interesting.

Here is the property, our place has the road on the west side, the fence line makes the north boundary and it is square. Much of the property falls off the mesa and isn't usable but we have about 20 acres of usable ground. You can see the house in the middle near the lower right hand edge of the orchard.
