Harvest Done!

Ready to Harvest

Hops Ready to Harvest September 2002

We harvested hop cones on September 10,2002. We got cones from 2 of the six varieties. Both Chinook and both Canadian Redvine plants produced cones.

Total wet hops weight was 1.1oz of Chinook and 1 oz of Redvine. Half of each sample has been sent to a lab for testing of alpha and beta acids.

The cones were placed on a screen to dry. After they were completely dry we froze them. We will be testing them in a sample brew later in the fall.
